The 2025 Jeonju International Awards for Promoting Intangible Cultural Heritage (JIAPICH) is now only a month away.
Celebrating its 7th edition this year, the Awards honor individuals and communities around the world who have dedicated themselves to safeguarding the values of ICH, and it is a meaningful occasion to share their devotion and achievements.
In particular, being held in Jeonju – a city renowned for its history and culture – this event will provide a valuable opportunity to reflect on both the present and future of ICH, not only in Korea but also globally.

The 2025 JIAPICH will take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Jeonju Korean Traditional Culture Center. For those that cannot be present during the awarding ceremony, the recording of the 2025 JIAPICH will be uploaded to the CICSinKorea YouTube channel.
