The "Treasures of Egypt" tour concluded its performances in Compiègne, France. The final show witnessed a large audience turnout and remarkable audience interaction.
We extend our sincere thanks to our partners, the Partage Association, for providing the opportunity for the artistic groups of the Upper Egypt Association for Education and Development to present their heritage, arts, and message calling for equality between boys and girls.
This tour, which was invited by the French Partage Association to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, ran from March 3 to 22, 2025. It included performances in seven different French cities: Lille, Paris (UNESCO), Lyon, Bordeaux, Saint-Agréve, Saint-Médard-en-Jales, and Compiègne. The performances were warmly welcomed by the French audiences in each city. Twenty-one boys and girls from Minya and Luxor governorates, aged 11 to 13, participated in the tour, presenting distinguished performances in singing, sports, and traditional stick fighting. The aim was to promote Egyptian cultural and artistic heritage and raise awareness of children's rights, particularly equality between girls and boys.
